BIO 181 General Biology I (for majors)

This course is a study of the structure and function of living things at the molecular, cellular, and organismic levels of organization. Topics include cell structure, metabolism, reproduction, genetics, and evolution.
3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.
Prerequisite(s)
RDG 092 or exemption.
Recommended Preparation
CHM 130,
CHM 138, or one year of high school chemistry;
ENG 096; and some knowledge of college algebra and/or trigonometry.
