HLT 125 Phlebotomy Technician
Students who complete this certificate successfully will be able to perform safe and accurate venipuncture and capillary puncture and record results in healthcare records. Upon successful completion of this certificate, students are eligible to take the National Health Care Career Association (NHA) Phlebotomy Technician Certification Examination.
3 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory.
Prerequisite(s)
Completion of, or concurrent enrollment in
HLT 111, and student must be 18 years of age
Recommended Preparation
High school diploma or equivalent.
