English - Associate of Arts (Major Code - ENG)

The English Associate of Arts degree prepares students for transfer to a university program in literature or written communication. To ensure seamless transfer, students must develop their specific program of study in close coordination with a Cochise College advisor.

The degree requires one of the following American literature courses: ENG 224, ENG 225, or ENG 265. The English Department recommends that students satisfy elective credits by selecting ENG 222, ENG 224, ENG 225, ENG 228, ENG 230, ENG 231, ENG 260, ENG 265, and ENG 273.
