Mathematics - Associate of Science (Major Code - MAT)
The Mathematics Associate of Science degree prepares students for transfer to a university program in mathematics, computer science, or natural sciences. To ensure seamless transfer, students must develop their specific program of study in close coordination with a Cochise College advisor.
Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this program will be able to do the following:
- Demonstrate an understanding of mathematical algorithms, definitions, and theorems in solving problems.
- Create, use, and analyze graphical representations of mathematical ideas.
- Write mathematical arguments using appropriate language, logic, and symbols. logic, and symbols.
